It's exciting to see SpaceX do something outside of missing a barge! I'm excited too see if the payload can arrive safely and if the launcher can actually be reusable.

What do you think of this new mission?

I like my Linux installs fully fleshed out, I don't go for the streamlined stuff! Although FreeBSD s...

Re: Virtual Reality Experiences

I was at the St. Johns rugby festival yesterday and got to try out the Samsung Gear VR. I was a sceptic of the technology but it's easy to say that I'm not a sceptic any more. It's a breakthrough in immersion, You have to try it out. I won't spoil the Gear VR demo for you, but wear some brown pants....

Re: NVIDIA 750 TI vs AMD R7 370

The cool thing about the 960 and the 950 sharing the same GM206 processor is that you can rest assured knowing that the 960 will come with a cherry-picked version of the GM206. It's a stout microprocessor and will last you a good long time. Being cherry picked, in theory it should be able to take mo...

ASRock re-enables overclocking on non-K Intel CPUs with new motherboards.

For a while now, Overclocking a non-K series Intel CPU has been impossible. This unpopular move by Intel didn't go down well with a lot of motherboard manufacturers, however ASRock decided to make a move. They added their own external clock generator which circumvents the Intel safeguarded clock gen...
