MSA Competitive Gaming Competition

Postby ZeroOne » Thu Mar 03, 2016 4:03 pm

Hello Fellow MITS Members

We would like to organize a competitive gaming competition during our first event.
However we would like suggestions as to what games you would like to play and on what platform.

Current recommendations:
*Dota 2 (PC)
*Counter Strike Global Offence (PC)
*Fifa 2016 (PS4)
*League of Legends (PC)

Please specify what you would like to play and on what platform.
Once we have enough recommendations we will announce the final games that will be hosted.
:D

Good day,
Please can we add League of Legends(PC) to the gaming list if possible.

I have added League of Legends to the list.
How many players are required in order to make up a team for League of Legends?

Hello Arad18, thank you for your Response.

We will be playing Counter Strike Global Offence on PC as it doesn't require a very powerful computer and is a relatively popular First Person Shooter for competitive gaming.

The Ultimate Goal of this event is to try and get fellow Monash Students together who play games to form an eSports Team.

I would like to encourage all members who play games and are interested to please post what games you play and if you are interested in competing in a friendly competition for fun and maybe a awesome prize.

Please post the Name and Platform of the game you would like to play competitively in this thread.

Both have already been mentioned but I know quite a few league and CS:GO players at Monash.
Perhaps a game such as SkullGirls(PC)? I don't know how many people play it though

Invite them to sign up to the forum and let us know that they're interested!

The Launch party is coming up soon and we would love to host a LAN for players!

Might be worthwhile to add a game like Portal 2 (Puzzle game which requires teamwork to accomplish goals)
Dota should be fun, I have never actually played it but it is never too late to learn I suppose!

A bit of a more technical query, but will there be a network resource which attendees will be able to grab copies of the games onto their systems if they don't have it?
Is there any other kind of St0rm than Black?
